SC exposed Rahul Gandhi and Congress party’s lie on Rafale deal: Yogi Adityanath
Guwahati, Dec 17 (IBNS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday hit back on Congress over the Rafale deal and said that the Supreme Court has exposed Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party’s lie on Rafale deal.
Addressing a press conference in Guwahati, Yogi Adityanath said that, lies of Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party on Rafale deal have been exposed by the Supreme Court.
“Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party are trying to play with the national security and they are also trying to mislead the people of the country. But the Supreme Court has exposed them. Rahul Gandhi and his company have designed a conspiracy but they were exposed,” Adityanath said.
The Uttar Pradesh CM demanded that, Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party should apologise to the nation.
“The Supreme Court has rejected a series of petitions seeking probe into the Rafale deal, but Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party have disrespected the apex court's verdict,” Adityanath said.
The Uttar Pradesh CM further said that, the Congress party is afraid to discuss this issue in the parliament.
The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed the pleas seeking probe into the Rafale deal between India and France for procurement of 36 Rafale jets.
Speaking about the Bulandshahr violence issue, Adityanath said that, his government will take stern action against the people who were involved in the violence.
“We will not spare anyone. There is a rule of law in Uttar Pradesh and the BJP ruled states. We will not allow anyone to violate the law. Laws are the same for everyone. The UP government has taken the issue very seriously,” he said in Guwahati.
