School removes four teachers after forcing students to remove inner wear during NEET

Kannur, May 9 (IBNS): Four teachers of a school, who had forced a female students to remove her bra in public to sit for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) over the fears of cheating, were removed by the particular school in Kerala, according to media reports on Tuesday.

During the NEET, which is an eligibility test for aspirant medical students, several students were reportedly forced to remove their garments which had metals in it, as per the restrictions issued for the examination.

A particular female student said that she had to remove her bra since it had metal on its straps, while a parent said that his daughter had to remove the button of her trouser and later bought one from the shop.

As per the restrictions imposed to ensure fair examination, male students were also had to undergo several harassment before the commencement of the examination as they were forced to cut the full sleeves of shirt or remove anything that had metals in it.

The principal of the concerned school admitted that he was well aware of the incidents took place and told NDTV that they acted according to the instructions laid down to conduct NEET.
