Scientist CNR Rao calls on Modi
New Delhi, June 2 (IBNS): Scientist C.N.R. Rao called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday.
The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said the meeting was just a 'courtesy call'.
"Prof C.N.R. Rao called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at South Block on 2nd June 2014. It was a courtesy call," the PMO said in a statement.
Rao was conferred the Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award of India, recently.
