Gurugram/IBNS: A portion of a 6-km-long under-construction flyover collapsed on the busy Sohna Road Saturday night, injuring two people.

The injured have been rushed to hospital and the accident site has been condoned off by the police.

Excavator vehicles are trying to remove the large chunks of concrete blocks.

"Slab of elevated corridor Sohna rd Gurugram collapsed. There have been 2 injuries and both have been admitted and under treatment. NHAI  team, SDM and civil defence team are at site," Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, who also holds the Public Works Department portfolio, tweeted.

Gurugram has been receiving incessant rains for the last few days. On Thursday, a portion of a busy road had caved in after torrential rains for two days.
