Sharif to hold bilateral talks with Modi
Sharif will visit India to attend Modi's swearing-in ceremony on May 26.
"According to the programme received from India, the Prime Minister will have a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Modi on the morning of 27 May. The Prime Minister would also call on the President of India. The Prime Minister would return to Pakistan in the afternoon of 27 May 2014," Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Saturday.
" In response to the invitation to the oath-taking ceremony of Prime Minister-designate of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister would be travelling to New Delhi on May 26, 2014. Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Secretary to the Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary would accompany the Prime Minister," it said.
Modi's swearing-in ceremony as India's new Prime Minister will be held on May 26 in New Delhi.
Large number of guests, including foreign delegates, are scheduled to attend the ceremony.
