Sheila Dikshit likely to be named as CM candidate for Congress in UP

New Delhi, July 14 (IBNS) : Former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit is likely to be be announced on Thursday as the Chief Ministerial candidate for the Congress in the coming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

Speculations over the veteran Congress leader being named as CM candidate has been doing rounds after she met the Congress leadership in Delhi last month.

According to reports, the 78-year-old leader, a Brahmin by caste, is being made as the face of the party in UP on the advise of  Prashant Kishor, the master poll strategist who has been working for the Congress.
