New Delhi, Apr 21 (IBNS) Union Communication Minister Kapil Sibal on Tuesday hit out at BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on his remarks on cleaning up Parliament of criminals, calling the Gujarat Chief Minister a potential accused in fake encounter cases.

"Your main campaigner [Amit Shah] is triple murder accused," said Sibal referring to the killings of Sohrabuddin, Kausar Bi and Tulsi Ram Prajapati in Gujarat.

"Narendra Modi is a potential accused," said Sibal.

Modi in a rally in .Uttar Pradesh's Hardoi said BJP and NDA people would not be spared too and he will ask the Supreme Court to file cases against them. He said he would make a committee and not spare anyone.

He said: "I am not bothered if I win or not. Will never compromise with my principles. I will make committees to look into criminal cases of people. Be it BJP, NDA (National Democratic Alliance)  or any other party, no one will be sparred. Those who have committed crimes must be punished."

"We want a Parliament free from criminals. Criminals will be in jail and when elections happen again clean candidates will come," he added.
