Siblings killed in roof collapse in Tamil Nadu

Ramanathapuram/UNI: In a tragic incident, a ten-year-old boy and his eight-year-old brother were killed, when the dilapidated roof of their house collapsed at Pothuvakudi village near Paramakudi here on Friday.

Police said the roof of old mud house came crumbling down, killing B.Jagadeeswaran and B Vishveswaran alias Vishwa.

The siblings were studying in fifth and fourth standards respectively in a primary school.

Their mother B Rekha (40), who sustained grievous injuries in the incident, was rescued from the debris and admitted to the government hospital.

Further investigations were on.
