SIT formed to probe black money by new govt
New Delhi, May 27 (IBNS) The first Cabinet meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Central government was held on Tuesday as the issue bringing back the black money was discussed in it, reports said.
Speaking on the issue, Union Law Minister Ravi Shyakar Prasad said in a press conference: "We have constituted a SIT to bring back black money."
Shankar said the Special Investigation Team (SIT) will be headed by retired Supreme Court judge Justice MB Shah.
He said: "This indicates the commitment of the new government of India."
