Six army jawans injured as militants ambush convoy in Kashmir

Srinagar, June 3 (IBNS) : Six army jawans were injured after militants on Saturday attacked their convoy in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, media reports said.

According to reports, the army convoy that was on way to Srinagar from Jammu was attacked near Hillar village in Qazigund area on the Srinagar Jammu national highway

Six soldiers, injured in the attack who were shifted to hospital. One of them is said to be critical.

The terrorists fled after the ambush.

The Army has launched search operation to track the militants responsible for the attack.

Details of the incident are awaited.
