Jaipur, Mar 19 (IBNS) Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday said if Pakistan stops supporting terrorists, the security situation in South Asia will greatly improve.
He said that the source of most terrorist activities in India lies across the borders, though the terror outfit ISIS has failed to influence Indian Muslims..

"If the ISI and the Pakistan army stop its support to certain terror outfits, I have no hesitation in saying that the security situation in South Asia will improve significantly," Singh said while addressing the inaugural session of an international conference on counter-terrorism.

"The failure of ISIS to influence Indian Muslims, who constitute the second largest Muslim population in the world, is due to their complete integration into the national mainstream. Indian Muslims are patriots and are not swayed by fundamentalist ideologies," he said.

Speaking on the menace of terrorism, Singh the world is witnessing a completely different kind of terrorism in the form of the ISIS and expressed concern at the way youngsters are being indoctrinated to turn militant.

"It is a matter of serious concern that terrorists are poisoning the minds of innocents  and inspiring them to be brutally intolerant and violent with others. I am happy to note that the influence of Islamic State on the Indian youth is negligible," the minister said.
