Special gratitude to Brazil for hosting Olympics, PM Modi tweets

New Delhi, Aug 22 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated all the athletes for participating in the Olympics, while showering praise on Brazil for hosting the mega event.

"Spectacular #ClosingCeremony for #Rio2016. I congratulate all athletes who took part in the games. @Olympics," PM Modi tweeted.

Congratulating the Indian athletes, Modi tweeted, "Want to specially wish the Indian contingent at #Rio2016. Every athlete gave his or her best."

"Special gratitude to the host nation, Brazil for hosting people from across the world & organising a memorable #OlympicGames," the Prime Minister's tweet read.
