Sushma Swaraj calls on Bhutan PM Lotay Tshering

New Delhi, Dec 28 (IBNS): Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Friday called on Bhutan PM Lotay Tshering here.

During the meeting, two leaders discussed important aspects of the relationship between India and Bhutan.

MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted: "Attaching priority to unique ties of friendship and cooperation. EAM @SushmaSwaraj called on @PMBhutan Dr Lotay Tshering. Congratulated him on assumption of high office of PM of Bhutan. Warm exchange of views on important aspects of our bilateral relationship."

Lotay Tshering arrived in India on Friday.

He is visiting the country at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Economic Affairs and other senior officials from the Royal Government of Bhutan is accompanying the Prime Minister of Bhutan.
