Sushma Swaraj condoles death of ex-Pakistan PM's wife Kulsoom Nawaz

New Delhi, Sept 12 (IBNS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday condoled the death of ex-Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif's wife Kulsoom Nawaz.

"I am sorry to know about the sad demise of Mrs.Kulsoom Nawaz. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. May her soul rest in peace," Swaraj tweeted.

Begum Kulsoom passed away in London on Tuesday.

She was undergoing treatment in the city for several months now.

The official Twitter page of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President tweeted: "My sister-in-law and Mr. Mian Nawaz Sharif's wife, Begum kalsum Nawaz, now we are not in, may their God forgiveness."

Begum Kulsoom was diagnosed with cancer last year.
