Three youths with suspected ISIS links arrested in Kerala

Thiruvanthapuram, Oct 26 (IBNS) : Three youths from Kerala's Kannur district, who were believed to have joined the ISIS and went to Turkey in a bid to enter Syria, were arrested after four months of surveillance.

According to reports, the youths were arrested on Wednesday  by the Valapattanam police after they were questioned  at the police station.

Those arrested have been identified as Midilaj K.C., 26, and Rashid M.P., 23, both from Munderi under Chakkarakkal police station limits, and Abdul Razakh K., 24, of Chekkikkulam under Mayyil police station limits.

The National Investigation Agency has been probing cases of disappearance of at least 21 people who had left the state under mysterious circumstances over a period of time and are suspected to have joined the Islamic State.
