Two die in road accident near Shimla

Shimla/UNI: Two people died and one other sustained injuries in a road mishap when a vehicle fell from the road near here, police said on Monday.

Superintendent of police Mr Mohit Chawla said that one Tata Sumo fell from the road near bad yah Churat Nala last night carrying three people.

The SUV fell about 500/600 metre down the Patcher road in which three people sustained injuries.

All of them rushed to IGMC Hospital. Pawan son of Gulab Singh (31), Dighat Teh (31) and Surender (30) son of Ramkrishan resident of Raalu- Jubbard, Mundhaghat were declared brought dead while the third person, identified as Nittu, is undergoing treatment.

The search operation was finished around 2300 hrs.
