| @indiablooms | Dec 30, 2019, at 04:13 pm

Kolkata/IBNS: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on  Monday once again tried to corner the Bharatiya Janata Party and said all should unite and leave the ruling party 'alone'.

"This is a protest to protect a person's democracy," Mamata Banerjee while addressing a rally in Purulia.

"Let's unite and make BJP alone," she said as she continued her opposition against the BJP government's recently passed Citizenship Amendment Act.

The Indian government this month passed the new citizenship law that triggered widespread violence across the nation.

"Our protest will continue," Mamata said.

Mamata has been protesting against the law for the past couple of weeks.
