Uttar Pradesh: Lovers commit suicide in Hardoi

Hardoi: Two lovers jumped in front of a moving train and committed suicide in Shahabad area of Hardoi district here in Uttar Pradesh on Monday.

Police sources said that the were having an affair and wanted to get married.

"As the boy was from a Brahmin family and the girl belonged to a backward community their families were opposed to it," they said.

Police sources said that there used to be disputes between the families due to this.

"On Monday morning the couple jumped in front of the moving train and committed suicide," they said.
