Uttar Pradesh: Three killed, 7 injured after being hit by car in Auraiya

Three persons, including two girls, were killed and seven others were injured, after being hit at Airwa Katra area in Auraiya district in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, police sources said here.

Police sources said that the incident took place on Agra-Lucknow highway where Raman Singh (38), a resident of Nagla Pahari village, along with his wife Kalpana, daughter Gungun (10), son Yash (3), relative Alka (25), her daughter Aradhya (8) were waiting to catch a vehicle for Fatehabad.

Police sources said that Arti, a resident of Rampura, Priyam, Rajesh and Ravi were also waiting nearby to catch a bus for Delhi.

"During this all of them were hit by a speeding car," they said.

Police sources said that the injured were taken to the community health center where doctors declared Aradhya, Raman Singh and her daughter Gungun dead.
