Watchman in Jayalaltihaa's tea estate allegedly murdered

Udhagamandalam, Tamil Nadu, Apr 24 (IBNS) : A watchman in late Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa's Kodanadu Tea Estate in the Nilgiris was found dead in the early hours of Monday, The Times of India reported.

The body bore no external injuries, but another r watchman, who had injuries, was found tied with a rope near the estate gate.

The deceased watchman has been identified as Ohm Bahadhur Thapa, 50 while the injured has been identified as Krishna Bahadhur Thapa, 37.

Police believe the former was murdered, though they  are yet to establish how the crime was committed and what was the motive behind it.
