Patna, Sept 9 (IBNS) Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Wednesday said he hopes that people who are satisfied with the performance of his government will vote for them in the upcoming state Assembly polls.

"We are hopeful that those who are satisfied with our works will vote for us. We will continue our works," Kumar told media.

"The dates have been announced and now we will concentrate on the polls," he said.

The Election Commission on Wednesday announced schedule for the Bihar polls which will start from Oct 12.

Polling will be held in five phases.

Polling to elect new  243 Assembly Constituency will held on  Oct 12Oct 16Oct 28Nov 1 and Nov 5.

Counting of votes will be held on Nov 8.

Important Dates:

Poll dates: Oct.12, 16, 28, Nov.1 and 5.

Counting of votes: Nov 8.
