Pulwama/New Delhi: Indian PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday remembered the 40 Central Reserve Police Force personnel who lost their lives in the Pulwama terror attack.

He said the nation will not the 'supreme sacrifice' of the soldiers.

"Remembering our valorous heroes who we lost on this day in Pulwama. We will never forget their supreme sacrifice. Their courage motivates us to build a strong and developed India," Modi tweeted.

At least 40 Indian paramilitary personnel were martyred as Pakistan-based militant organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) carried out an attack in Kashmir's Pulwama on Feb 14, 2019.

Within 24 hours, India had retaliated by bombing a terrorist camp at Balakot in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).
