West Bengal: 2 killed in mud hut crash in East Midnapore

Kolkata, Mar 30 (IBNS): An old mud house collapsed on Thursday early morning at Bhagabanpur area in West Bengal's East Midnapore district, killing at least two persons, local media reports said.

According to reports, a wall and the roof of the mud hut suddenly collapsed in early morning when its residents were sleeping inside it.

After being rescued, the duo was rushed to a nearby hospital, where they were declared dead.

The deceased have been identified as Debashis Das (52) and his sister Debashree Das (26), according to police reports.
