West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee meets Guv Jagdeep Dhankhar

Kolkata/IBNS: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee here on Monday met Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar, a week after the latter slammed the state government over multiple issues, including his budget speech's coverage and law and order situation in the state.

According to reports, the Chief Minister and Governor discussed several state-related issues during their nearly one-hour-long interaction at Raj Bhavan.

After the meeting was over, Banerjee left the Governor's place without giving any reaction to the media.

Dhankhar wrote on Twitter that their interaction was 'extremely satisfying'.

"Had an extremely satisfying an hour long interaction with Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Bannerjee at Raj Bhawan," Dhankhar tweeted.
