West Bengal: Four injured in Bhatpara crude bomb blast
Barrackpore: Panic gripped a part of the Bhatpara municipal area of West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district on Sunday following a series of explosions a little after four people were wounded as a crude bomb went off, official sources said.
The Rapid Action Force (RAF) was deployed in the affected ward number 17, they added.
Five suspects have been arrested in connection with the bomb explosion.
They said unidentified miscreants hurled two bombs on the outside wall of a house where a marriage ceremony was held last midnight. Altogether four people were wounded in the blasts.
While two people got wounded when hey were hit by splinters. The other two were injured after they fell while running.
While three of the injured were admitted to the Sagar Dutta Hospital at Barrackpore, the other victim was admitted to a local nursing home. They were now out of danger.
