Will Pawan Kalyan win in Andhra Pradesh assembly polls? Bets in favour of actor

After creating ripples in films, Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan is aiming to rise even in the political battlefield as he has plunged into electoral politics once again.

Pawan, who heads the Jana Sena Party, was defeated by YSRCP in the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections.

Pawan had lost both the seats- Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram- from where he had contested.

However, Hyderabad's Film Nagar, as reports claim, is betting on Pawan's win in the 2024 assembly elections.

In 2024, Pawan is contesting from the Pithapuram assembly segment.

He cast his vote during the fourth phase of elections along with his wife on Monday.

In Andhra Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's BJP is in an alliance with N Chandrababu Naidu's TDP and Jana Sena Party to take on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSRCP this time.

Some of the celebrities are, however, in a view that Pawan will lose even this time.

The results will be declared on June 4.

In 2008, Pawan Kalyan, now 55, joined politics as the youth wing president of his brother Chiranjeevi's Praja Rajyam Party.

When Chiranjeevi's party was merged with the Congress, Pawan left it.

In 2014, Pawan, who is one of the massively popular stars, founded the Jana Sena Party.
