Woman repeatedly raped on pretext of marriage in Shimla: FIR registered

Shimla, Jun 12 (UNI) A day after a woman complained that she was repeatedly raped in the Himachal Pradesh capital, an FIR was registered at a police station in Bioleauganj in the town.

The matter came to light on Tuesday after the 23-year-old victim filed a case in the police station, following which an FIR was lodged.

The victim, a resident of Old Barrier Ghodachoki suburb of this town, said in her complaint that accused raped her on pretext of marriage.

She alleged that she was being sexually exploited since January 15.

A manhunt has been launched to arrest the accused.
