Yogendra Yadav is a very dear friend: Kejriwal

New Delhi, June 7 (IBNS) Amid reports of a spat between Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders Manish Sisodia and Yogendra Yadav, party supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said Yadav is a 'verygood friend' and that he has raised some issues that need to be sorted out.

"Yog yadav is a v dear friend and a v valued colleague. Had long discussion with him," tweeted Kejriwal.

"Yog yadav has raised some imp issues. All of us will work on it," he posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Kejriwal said he will also try to bring Shazia Ilmi back to the party.

"We will also try to get shazia back," he said.

Amid speculations of rifts within the AAP,  party leader Sanjay Singh on Friday said there is "internal democracy" in the party.

The AAP on Friday held a National Executive meet in the national capital.

Emerging from the meeting  Sanjay Singh told reporters: "We have internal democracy."

He said every member has the authority of having his or her own opinions.

This came after AAP leader Manish Sisodia sent a letter to party colleague Yogendra Yadav accusing him of targeting Kejriwal.

Sisodia, in his letter, that was leaked to media, said: "An ugly fight between you and Naveen Jaihind has been unfolding for the last 15 days. Sad that you have made your spat public and involved the media. The party is being humiliated. Even sadder is the fact that you want disciplinary action against Jaihind. You didn't get your way so now you have dragged Kejriwal into your personal fight. When you wanted to be projected as the Haryana CM candidate despite opposition from other PAC members, Arvind backed you."

Yadav is reportedly unhappy with the letter being leaked in the media.

The AAP, which is reeling under a crisis of prominent leaders leaving it, on Thursday rubbished rumours that its leader in Maharashtra, Anjali Damania, is quitting the party.

"There is no such crisis. She was with us, she with us and she will be with us. There has been no such resignation," said AAP leader Ashutosh in New Delhi.

There were earlier reports that Anjali Damania is not happy with the things in party and has resigned. She fought BJP leader Nitin Gadkari in Nagpur and lost.

She, however, has not spoken on the matter yet.

Earlier last month two prominent members of the AAP- Captain GR Gopinath and Shazia Ilmi -  resigned from the party.

Shazia cited lack of discipline and democracy within the party.

Captain Gopinath said although he respected Kejriwal, he found the latter's recent actions as disappointing.
