Yogi Adityanath tests Covid-19, self isolates

Lucknow/IBNS: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has tested positive for Novel Coronavirus or Covid-19.

Adityanath tweeted, "I got tested for Covid-19 after seeing initial symptoms. I have tested positive. I am in self-isolation and following all the advice of doctors. I am performing all administrative work virtually."

"The state administration is working normally. In the meantime, all those who have come in contact with me must get tested and take all precautions," he added.

Earlier, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has tested positive for Covid-19.

He has also self-isolated himself.
