Ashok Leyland's May 2020 sales down by 89 pc
Mumbai, Jun 2 (UNI) Commercial vehicle major Ashok Leyland has reported a decline of 89 pc in its total sales for the month of May 2020 at 1420 units as against 13,172 units in May 2019.
Domestic sales dropped 90 pc n May 2020 to 1,277 units as compared to 12778 units in Ma7 2019.,company said in a filing with BSE.
LCV sales was down 73 pc to 1,154 units in May 2020 as against 4226 units in May 2019. Domestic LCV sales dropped 73 pc to 1126 units, as compared to 4143 units in May 2019.
M&HCV sales dropped 97 pc to 266 units in May 2020, as against 8,946 units in May 2019. M&HCV bus sales was down 100 pc to 0 units in May 2020 as compared to 1,564 units in May 2019.
M&HCV Trucks sales was down 96 pc to 266 units, as against 7,382 units in May 2019.
Domestic M&HCV sales was down 98 pc to 151 units, as compared to 8,635 units in May 2019. Domestic sales of M&HCV trucks was down 98 pc to 151 units as against 7,325 units in May 2019. The domestic sales of M&HCV Bus dropped 100 pc to 0 units units in May 2020, as compared to 1,310 units in May 2019.
