Kolkata/UNI: Bank of Baroda (BoB), a major public sector bank, inaugurated the ‘Property Expo’ on a pan India basis to encourage customers to get connected with the services offered by them.

Bank of Baroda has organized several property expos in the eastern zone, including Kolkata, Burdwan, Siliguri, Jorhat and Guwahati.

The event endeavors to congregate property developers, car dealers, the general public, and the bank on a single platform, as the economy is gradually reviving after a prolonged infectious effect of the ongoing pandemic.

The property exhibition organized at City Centre I, Salt Lake, Kolkata on Nov 20 and Nov 21 was graced by Firhad Hakim, State Cabinet Minister of Transport and Housing.

Speaking on the occasion, Debabrata Das, zonal head for BoB, said, “Bank of Baroda has been organizing various such events to reach out and lend support to the retail customers of our country, in recognition of their immense contribution to India's economic progress through the decades."

The bank is keen to provide financial services to retail customers through various schemes, and to make them aware of the opportunities available in the retail sector, a senior bank official said.

During the first day of the event, BoB generated more than 200 housing loan leads amounting to Rs 8.80 crore and expects leads worth Rs 20.00 cr (aprox) on the next day.
