Mumbai, Jun 8 (IBNS): Indian benchmark indices ended flat on Wednesday following mixed global cues, with Sensex up 10.99 points to 27020.66 and Nifty up 6.60 points to 8273.05.

In a listless session, IT stocks experienced selling pressure with the rupee into its fourth day of gains.

Infosys, TCS, Oracle Financial Services Software, Mphasis, Tech Mahindra and Persistent Systems were some of the prominent laggards on Wednesday.

Among others, HDFC Bank, Asian Paints and Adani Ports too saw a decline.

Tata Power, BHEL, Bank of Baroda, Ambuja Cements, Larsen & Toubro, ICICI Bank, ONGC, and Hero Motocorp ranked among the gainers.
