Capacit'e Infraprojects bags new orders of Rs. 925 crore for construction of new high-rise buildings

Mumbai / Kolkata, Jan 20 (IBNS): Capacit'e Infraprojects Limited, a leading construction company which specialises in construction super-high rise buildings, on Wednesday announced that the company has bagged nine new construction orders aggregating to Rs925.79 crore from different developers across cities in the country.

Currently, Capacit’e order book position is close to Rs. 5,000 crore for construction projects spread across major cities in India.

In a major development recently, the company has bagged an Rs 217.80 crore construction order from Rustomjee Constructions for the construction of Rustomjee Seasons in Bandra (East), Mumbai. Scope of work for the project includes construction of six high-end residential towers comprising of three basements with 24 floors.

The construction work for this project has commenced and is expected to be completed in the 27 months.

It has also bagged an Rs 181.49 crore order from Twenty Five South Realty, a joint venture of Hubtown and the Wadhwa Group, for construction of residential towers in a phased manner at Hindoostan Mills Compound, Prabhadevi in Mumbai. The scope of work under this phase 1 includes construction of a residential tower comprising of 1 basement, 1 ground floor, 9 podium floors, 40 floors, 4 sky villas, 5 refuge floors, 3 service floors, 3 fire check floors and a terrace floor. The total height of the tower will be 240 m.

The company has also bagged an Rs 175.62 crore from Radius & Deserve Builders LLP for construction of six mass housing residential towers in Chembur, Mumbai. The construction work for the project has commenced and is expected to be complete in the next 26 months.

For the project, the company will be using imported tunnel formwork system to cut down the slab casting cycle times.

The tunnel form work combined with weld-mesh reinforcement technology enables construction of over five floors a month, delivering positively on the mass housing objectives. As this technology is new in India, Capacit'e will be availing the services of skilled manpower from Turkey for this project.
