Govt puts order for relief, revival of J&K’s business sector in abeyance

Srinagar/IBNS: The J&K government Thursday put the order regarding the relief and revival of the union territory's business sector in abeyance.

An order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) stated that the operation of government order number 203-1ND of -2021 dated October 20, 2021, regarding handling of cases for soft loan of sick units, issued under the endorsement No. IC-SIDC/21/2021 dated October 20 shall remain in abeyance till further intructions.

Earlier, the Industries and Commerce Department in an order issued on Oct 20 accorded sanction to the grant of 30 percent margin money of the soft loan lifted for revival of the Sick Industrial Units under the scheme “Revival of Business Sector in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.”

The order was issued pursuant to recommendations made by the committee constituted by the J&K government for proposing measures for relief and revival of the business sector in J&K.
