Hyundai launches Grand i10 Nios at Rs 4.99 lakh
New Delhi, Aug 20 (UNI) Hyundai Motor India Ltd, one of the country’s largest car makers, on Tuesday launched its new compact hatchback, the Grand i10 Nios, at a price range of Rs 4.99 lakh to Rs 7.99 lakh.
Speaking at the launch, SS Kim, MD & CEO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd said, "The Grand i10 Nios is a Made in India product for the world."
"The new hatchback is an expression of our commitment to the Indian market. Nios means more, and this model is always offer more to our customers in value engineering and best quality along with first and best-in-segment features", he added.
The new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios gets features like boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, projector headlamps, cascading grille projector fog lamps, roof rails, shark fin antenna, 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and rear skid plate.
Its cabin features 20.25 cm touchscreen infotainment system, 13.46 cm digital speedometer and cluster with MID, wireless charging, smartphone connectivity, Arkamys premium sound, premium seat upholstery, engine start/stop button, driver side height adjustment and electrically adjustable and folding outside mirrors.
The 2019 Nios comes with a 1.2-litre Kappa engine, which is BS6 compliant, and a 1.2-litre CRDi diesel engine. The petrol mill makes 83 PS and 113.76 Nm of torque.
The diesel powertrain churns out 75 PS and 190.25 Nm of torque. Both the motors are being offered with manual as well as automatic transmission options.
It is available in four trims-- Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta. There are six monotone colour options like Fiery Red, Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Aqua Teal and Alpha Blue, and two dual-tone paint schemes like Polar White with Black Roof and Aqua Teal with Black Roof.
