IBHFL requests SC to take up urgently writ petition filed against it

New Delhi, Jun 12 (UNI) India Bulls Housing Finance Ltd (IBHFL) on Wednesday mentioned the matter before the Supreme Court vacation bench, that the company was facing share loss due to press reports on a plea filed by a milk vendor and top court should hear the case on an urgent basis.

"Ingenious and novel technique are being adopted by a blackmailer," Dr Abhishek Manu Singhvi, senior lawyer appearing for India Bulls Housing Finance Ltd, submitted to the apex court vacation bench, headed by Justice Indira Banerjee.

The company says it would prefer the apex court to take up urgently the writ petition filed against it.

Petitioner is a milk vendor and has got just four shares, Dr Singhvi submitted to the top court.

The court said it will take a decision at 2 PM on Wednesday on early listing of the matter.
