Indian Rupee declines one paisa to end at 74.43 against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Wednesday ended negative at 74.43, declining by one paisa against the USD on rising demand for the greenback by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
In the opening trade, the local unit moved up 2 paise to 74.40 and finished at 74.43, easing one paisa as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee dropped due to a firm dollar against other world currencies amid a robust equity market, the dealers said.
The local unit registered the day's high and low at 74.46 and 74.39 respectively.
