Indian Rupee down 10 paise against USD

Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee remained negative for the fourth straight session on Tuesday as it lost by 10 paise at 71.20, a two-week-low against the US Dollar on brisk demand for US Dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.

In opening trade the local unit that eased by six paise to 71.17 lost ground by ten paise to finish at 71.20, as compared to its last close.

The domestic unit recorded day high and low at 71.24 and 71.12 respectively.

The Rupee dropped on weak Dollar against other world currencies along with negative equity market,  they added.
