Mumbai, Aug 2 (UNI) The Rupee on Friday dropped by 54 paise to 69.59, a two week low brisk demand for US Dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at Forex Market said.

The local currency slipped by 19 paise to 69.24 in early trade.

It slid further by 49 paise to end negative at 69.59 as compared to its last close.
