Indian Rupee ends almost steady at 79.83 against USD

Mumbai: The Rupee on Tuesday closed almost flat at 79.83, rising by one paisa against the USD on selling of US Dollar from bankers and importer, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.

A minor fluctuation was witnessed during the day, as the local unit declined one paisa at 79.85 in opening trade, and finished at 79.83, rising by one paisa only as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee unit registered days high and low at 79.80 and 79.88 respectively against the US Dollar, dealer added.
