New Delhi: The Indian Rupee on Tuesday closed strong at 75.32 against the Greenback posting a gain of 22 paise on brisk selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.

The domestic unit that rose marginally by five paise at 75.49 in the early trade, surged and finished at 75.32, advancing 22 paise as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee rallied owing to weak dollar against other world currencies inspite of weak equity market.

The Rupee unit registered the day's high and low at 75.28 and 75.52 respectively against the US Dollar, a dealer said.
