Indian Rupee ends strong at 76.07 against USD

Mumbai/UNI:  The Rupee remained robust for another day on Thursday, as it advanced by 60 paise to close at 76.07 on brisk selling of US dollar by bankers and exporters dealers at the forex market informed.

Gaining by 17 paise on Wednesday, the local unit opened higher by 40 paise to 76.27. It remained positive throughout the day. Till the end of the day, it surged by 60 paise to finish at 76.07 as compare to its last close.

The domestic unit registered days high and low at 76.72 and 76.03 respectively.

The Rupee spurted today owing to weak dollar against other world currencies amid equity market today, dealers said.

With this, the Rupee has gained 77 paise in couple of sessions.
