Indian Rupee falls by 13 paise against USD
Mumbai, May 10 (UNI) The Rupee on Friday slipped further by 13 paise to 70.07 against the USD Dollar in early trade on rising demand for US Dollars by importers, dealers at Forex Mareket said.
US-China trade related concerns and foreign fund outflows weighed on investor sentiments, delear added.
The rupee opened weak at 70.04 at the interbank forex market and then fell further to 70.07 against the American currency, down 13 paise over its last close.
The domestic unit dropped in early trade owing rising crude oil prices and strong dollar against other world currencies.
It registered intra day high and low 70.08 and 69.94 against US Dollars respectively, they added.
On Thursday rupee fell by 23 paise to settle at at 69.94 against the US dollar.
