Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Monday rose further by two paise to end positive at 76.27 on renewed selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the forex market said.

The local unit that opened negative at 76.39, down by 10 paise in opening trade, later erased earlier losses and finished positive at 76.27, up by two paise, as compared to it's last close.

The domestic unit registered day's high and low at 76.25 and 76.42, respectively.

The Rupee advanced because of weak dollar against other world currencies, despite weak Indian equity market, the dealers said.

The forex market will remain close on Tuesday for 'Dr Ambedkar Jayanti,' the dealers added.
