Indian Rupee marginally up by 2 paise against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Friday rose marginally by two paise to close positive at 73.79 against the US Dollar on selling of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
A minor fluctuation was seen during the day, as the local unit moved up by five paise to 73.76 in opening trade and finished at 73.79, rising by two paise as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee went up owing to weak Dollar against other world currencies amid strong stock market, dealers added.
The rupee registered intra days high and low at 73.83 and 73.73 respectively, he added.
