Indian Rupee recoups 19 paise against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Friday smartly recovered by 19 paise to close positive
at 74.84 against the greenback on selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
Sliding by 28 paise in last two sessions, the local unit moved up by eight paise to 74.95 in opening trade, till the end of the session, it advanced by 19 paise to close at 74.84 as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee regained on weak Dollar against other world currencies, dealers further said.
The Indian currency registered intra days high and low at 74.98 and 74.80 respectively, they added.
