Mumbai: The Indian Rupee on Wednesday recovered ten paise to close at 76.41 against the USD on selling of fresh US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.

The local unit that eased five paise to reach 76.56 in early trade, later erasing losses, it finished positive at 76.41, up ten paise as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee improved owing to weak dollar against other world currencies amid weak equity market.

The Rupee unit registered the day's high and low at 76.53 and 76.60 respectively against the US Dollar, a dealer added.
