Indian Rupee rises 4 paise against USD
Mumbai: The Rupee on Monday roze four paise to close at 76.15 against the greenback on selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The Rupee that fell ten paise at 76.29 in opening session, erased earlier losses and finished positive at 76.15, rising by four paise as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee surged because of weak dollar against other world currencies amid rebounding equity market today.
The Rupee unit registered the day's high and low at 76.12 and 76.32 respectively against the US Dollar, a dealer said.
