Indian Rupee rises by 4 paise against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Indian rupee on Wednesday rose by four paise to reach 74.79 against the US Dollar on selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
In the opening session, the local unit moved up by three paise to 74.80 and closed positive at 74.79, up by four paise as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee improved owing to weak dollar against other world currencies, dealers said.
The rupee registered the intra days high and low at 74.87 and 74.75 respectively, he added.
