Jet Airways cancels all international flights today and tomorrow

Mumbai, Apr 11 (IBNS): Jet Airways has cancelled all international flights for Thursday and Friday due to lack of funds by the airline, media reports said.

Flights to Amsterdam, Paris and London have been cancelled for two days, NDTV reported quoting sources.

The airline scaled down its operation from 26 flights last week.

"Till recently, the airline operated 26 aircraft, including Airbus A330s, Boeing 777s, 737-800 and ATRs, to various destinations like London, Toronto, Singapore, Amsterdam, Paris, Bangkok and domestic sectors like Mumbai-Delhi, among others," NDTV reported.

As the Airline is struggling for its survival, its shares declined over 5 per cent recently.

Amid the growing crisis, promoter and former chairman of Jet Airways Naresh Goyal and his wife resigned.

Majority of the cash-strapped airline's fleet has been grounded amid non-payment of dues to banks, suppliers, pilots and lessors.
